Med L Clayton, 86, of Brazoria went to her long home on Thursday, November 11, 2021, in Sweeny, Texas.  Med was born September 16, 1935, to Joseph E & Jeanette (Guidry) Clayton.

After graduation from Sour Lake High School, she found her way to Brazoria County where she lived the remainder of her life.  She was a caregiver to many residents of Brazoria County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Brazoria.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E and Jeanette Clayton; sisters, Donnie L Finch and Shelia A Clayton; son, Richard "Bubba" Maynor.

Med is survived by her son, Roy E Maynor, Sr., wife Connie; daughter, Richelle Sims; grandchildren Terrell Taylor, Roy E Maynor, Jr., Cory Maynor & Stephen Sims; great grandchildren Rebekah and Tre Maynor, Ivan and Syi Sims and Reece and Mykah Maynor

A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the services at Brazoria Cemetery.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Brazoria Cemetery with Pastor Cody Morgan officiating.

Pallbearers will be Med’s grandsons Terrell Taylor, Roy E Maynor, Jr., Cory Maynor & Stephen Sims

Out of her love for animals please make any memorials to Brazoria County SPCA.
