Melanie Ann Guillory of Sweeny, Texas passed away on July 25, 2026, in her home surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

Melanie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gene Guillory and her two children, daughter Somer Henry and husband Matthew, and her son Nicolas Guillory. She is also survived by her mother Mamie Stewart, sister Kim Wright and husband Steve, brother Kevin Stewart and her grandchildren Gabriel, Luke, and Tanner. She was preceded in death by her father Calvin Earl Stewart.

Melanie was a lover of art, whether painting, cooking, decorating, music, and even video games. She mostly enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and wife, as well as aunt, sister, Gigi, and daughter. Nothing was more important to her than her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather in Melanie's memory on Thursday July 30, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Shady Acres at 18034 County Road 463, Brazoria, TX 77422. Viewing starts at 10 o'clock am with a service to follow at 12 o'clock pm.

Serving as pallbearers are Kolby Stewart, Shane Stewart, Stacy Stewart, Josh Jordan, Justin Jordan, and Zach Fink. Honorary pallbearers Blaine Stewart and Randal Oaks.
