Melissa Autry

Melissa Carol Autry, 56, passed away peacefully February 16, 2022, at 9:00 P.M. in Houston, Texas. She was born in Freeport, Texas on May 21, 1965, to Steve Walters and Keeta Singleton. Melissa graduated from Columbia High School in West Columbia, Texas. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Melissa is survived by her daughters, Whitney Autry and Allyson Autry and son-in-law Ryan; parents, Keeta and Jim Singleton; stepmother, Marilyn Walters; father-in-law, Gene Autry; siblings, Kayla Burns (Brad), and Becki Lewis; Quent Walters (Elaine), Justin Walters (Lauren), and Joe Singleton; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Melissa is preceded in death by her husband, Kevin; father, Steve; mother-in-law, Judy; and brother, Stevie.

A visitation will be held at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas on Thursday February 24, 2022, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest.
