Nola Timmer

Nola Rena Timmer of Lake Jackson, Texas went to her heavenly home on January 27, 2023. She was born in Crowley, Louisiana to Remus and Belzie (Dronet) Abshire.

Nola attended the Lighthouse Baptist Church along with her loving family and church family. She was a homemaker and loved to cook and care for her family and brought much love and joy to those around her. She provided care for her grandchildren and the family pets. She loved to laugh and was known for her beautiful smile that would light up a room. She had a true servant’s heart for those in need around her and she will be truly missed.

Nola is survived by her twin sister Nora Hebert of Crowley, Louisiana, daughter Deborah Koffler (Kevin Koffler), son Allen J Timmer, granddaughter Shelby Koffler, grandson Cody Koffler, grandson Lane Koffler, and several cousins, nieces, nephews and ex-husband/friend Eugene Timmer.

Nola is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bernice Abshire, sister Jean Bell, sister Hilda Stelly, sister Dorothy Griffin, and sister Shirley Reifenstuhl.

Services will be held at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home at 634 S. Columbia Dr. in West Columbia, Texas on Tuesday, January 31st at 1pm. Visitation will be held at 12 pm.
