Patricia Vitek

Patricia Ann Sliva Vitek, 85, of Brazoria, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Lake Jackson, Texas. She was born to Jerry and Annie (Motl) Sliva in Rosenberg, Texas on December 10, 1931.

She married Libert Vitek on June 27, 1950 in Wallis, Texas. They were married for 63 years, until his death in January 2014.

Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Altar Society, Catholic Daughters, and the KJZT. She loved crafting and going to the beach, was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed family time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Patricia Vitek was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

She is survived by her six children: Mike Vitek (Juanita), Sharon Hardwick (Gene), Jerry Vitek (Shandace Spencer), Robbie Smith (Howard), Kevin Vitek (Theresa), and Milissa Armbrister (Shane); ten grandchildren: Jody Hardwick (Shelbey), Haley Rod (Steven), Mandy Prewit (Mark), Chad Hardwick (Jennifer), Heather Dornak (Robert Lee), Heath Smith (Holli), Michael Vitek (Emily), Jillian Moss, Elizabeth Schaab, and Payton Armbrister; seventeen great-grandchildren: Brayden Hardwick, Madeline Dornak, Avery Prewit, Trey Dornak, Brinley Hardwick, Kenna Rod, Kyler Rod, Teague Prewit, Reese Hardwick, Brittyn Hardwick, Kennedy Dornak, Case Hardwick, Madison Denhartog, Braydon Denhartog, Jack Denhartog, Macy Smith, and Lane Vitek. She is also survived by her brother Gene James Sliva (Sharon), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 5:00PM on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 with Rosary at 7:00PM at Baker

Funeral Home, 634 S. Columbia Drive, West Columbia, Texas.
Funeral mass will be at 10:30AM on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 219 County Road 762, Brazoria, Texas, with Father Tin Pham officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jody Hardwick, Chad Hardwick, Heath Smith, Michael Vitek, Robert Lee Dornak, Steven Rod, and Mark Prewit. Honorary pallbearers will be her nephews: Jonathan Sliva, Eric Sliva, Matthew Sliva, and Timothy Sliva.
