Pedro Magana Jr.

Pedro R. Magaña Jr., 80, of West Columbia, Tx, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Galveston, Tx.

Pedro R. Magaña Jr. was born in El Derramadero, Uriangato, Guanajuato, Mexico to Trenida Ruiz and Pedro Magaña on March 8, 1941. In 1971 he married Amparo Guzman.

In 1972, Pedro started his journey to the United States. He lived in Alvin, Galveston, and then finally resided in West Columbia, Texas where he started a family. He spent most of his lifetime working for Boone Lease Services and Sky Services. He also worked many side jobs on the weekends.

Pedro R. Magaña is preceded in death by his parents Trenidad Ruiz And Pedro Magaña, brother Salvador Magaña Ruiz.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Amparo Magaña; daughter, Maria (Theresa) Magaña; son, Pedro Magaña III; sisters Ernestina Magaña Ruiz, Belen Magaña Ruiz, Magdalena Magaña Ruiz, Ma Guadalupe Magaña Ruiz, along with numerous of nieces, nephews, great & great great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Pedro Magaña III, Benjamin Martinez Jr., Jose Martinez, Diego Perez, Jose Zuniga and Joel Sanchez.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 from 12pm- 1pm at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Tx. Funeral Services will follow at 1pm. Burial will be immediately after the funeral service at West Columbia Cemetery.
