Ramido Escobar

Ramido Escobar, 67, of West Columbia, TX., passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Victoria, Texas. Ramido was born July 20, 1953 in El Campo, Texas to the late Angelita Rivera and Ramond Escobar.

Mr. Escobar was preceded in death by his parents Ramond Escobar and Angelita Rivera, grandparents Marcos and Angelita Escobar, and Modesto and Elida Rivera, son Ramiro Ray Escobar, brother Freddie Escobar, nephew Frederick Escobar, great niece Mackenzie Warner and brother-in-law Arthur Aranda.

Ramido is survived by his son Juan C. Escobar and wife Patricia; daughter Celia Gonzalez-Escobar and husband Andy Gonzalez; grandchildren Rosslynn Escobar and husband Miguel Palomo, Ray Escobar, Xavier Cantu and wife Kelsie, Billy Hilsinger, Andrew Hilsinger, Saphyra Escobar, Ramiro Ray Escobar, Ramona Escobar, Gabriel Escobar Gonzalez and Nathaniel Escobar Gonzalez; great grandchildren Miguel Angel Palomo, Elina Palomo and Rylie Cantu; sisters Mary Garcia and husband Alex, Rosa Aranda and Deanna E. Resendez and husband Justo.

Visitation for Ramido will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 10:00am until 11:00 am with funeral services to follow at 11:00am at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia, TX.

Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Haven at Rest in West Columbia, TX.
