Randy Stanford, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, passed away on October 29 2024, in Angleton, Texas. Born on October 22, 1951, Randy lived a rich life filled with meaningful experiences and countless cherished memories.
Randy dedicated many years of his life to serving as a Health & Safety Manager in the Oil & Gas industry. His commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of others reflected his character—always caring, always vigilant. In addition to his professional endeavors, Randy proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserve, a commitment that exemplified his dedication to serving his country.
Education was important to Randy, who earned his Master's degree and was committed to lifelong learning. His thirst for knowledge would often inspire his family and friends, encouraging them to pursue their own dreams with passion and enthusiasm.
Above all, Randy was a loving family man. He is survived by his devoted wife, Beverly (Eernisse) Stanford, whose partnership brought joy and strength into his life. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their son Randall Paul Stanford and his wife Alison of Angleton, TX; daughter Brandi Huckaby and her husband Joey of West Columbia, TX; daughter Alicia Reyna and her husband Robert of Iowa Colony, TX; and son Jeffrey Stanford and his wife Meagan of West Columbia, TX. Randy’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Dayton, Kalen, Riley, Kenzley, Gabriel, Joel, Elijah, Ryann, Addie, Masyn, and Ryder. He found immense joy in attending their sporting events, cheering them on with the same passion he brought to every aspect of life.
Randy's siblings, Mike Stanford (Judy), Linda Guinn (Steve), and Karen Cartwright (Chuck), along with numerous nieces and nephews, also carry on his spirit. They will remember him not just for his affectionate nature but also for the warmth and laughter he brought into their lives.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy Warrick and Dan Moody Stanford, and his sister, Laurie Stanford, whose memories Randy cherished deeply.
In his free time, Randy sought solace in the great outdoors, passionately enjoying hunting and fishing. His laughter would often echo through the woods, a reminder of his love for life and the simplicity it provided.
A memorial service will be held on November 6, 2024, at Columbia Methodist Church in West Columbia, TX, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM. It will be a time for family and friends to come together, sharing their love and memories of Randy, celebrating a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to The Columbia Methodist Church or any charity that supports Dementia, Diabetes or Kidney Disease Research.
