Raymond Smerek

Raymond James Smerek, 68, of Damon, passed away on February 11, 2020. He was born on August 29, 1951 in Damon, Texas to Steve and Stazie (Orsak) Smerek.

Raymond is survived by his son, Matthew Smerek and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Cameron and Rylea; brother, Butch and wife, Belinda Smerek; and sister, Ann Miller and husband, Chris Jankowski.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert, Louis, and Alvin Smerek; sisters, Agnes and husband, Cecil Groze, and Josie and husband, Hank Uherek; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the CCD Building next to St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Damon. Also on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 there will be a celebration of life at 6235 CR 4 in Damon from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
