Rene B. Shaw, 87 of Sweeny passed away Monday, March 07, 2016 at Memorial Hermann in Houston. He was born September 26, 1928 in Galveston, Texas to Howard and Melva (Broussard) Shaw. He was a switchman for Southwestern Bell until he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine Anne Lowth Shaw of Sweeny; son, Rene B. Shaw, Jr. of Old Ocean;2 grandchildren, Cody Shaw and Angela Shaw Stewart and husband, Ronnie along with 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Joyce Shaw.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
