Ricardo Rios

Ricardo Rios, age 65, of Brazoria, went to his heavenly home on Monday, February 14, 2022. Rick was born on August 22, 1956, to the late Juan and Rita Rios of Seadrift, Tx.

Upon graduating from Calhoun High School, he married his high school sweetheart, Margie Trevino Rios, and moved to Brazoria County where he was employed as an operator by Dow Chemical until his retirement.

Rick was a man of faith and a devoted family man.  He enjoyed barbecuing, hunting, and fishing.  Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was heavily involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Whether being a manny, coaching a team or cheering from the sidelines, he was always there in support.  He always opened his home to anyone in need and was loved and respected by many.

Left to carry on his legacy are his wife, Margie Rios; children, Rachael Rhyne (Lonnie), Rick Rios, Michael Rios (Robin), and Amanda Rios (Chris); grandchildren, Jaedyn Wilson (Nick), Roman Rhyne, Ethan Rhyne, Jaslyn Rios, Kaitlyn Rios (John), Ricky Rios, Audri Rios, Xavier Rios, Case Rios, Ayden Rios, and Bryson Rios; siblings, Apolonio Rios (Gole), Rudy Rios, Odilia Rodriguez (Luis), Connie Rios, Gloria Rios, Lucy Leita (Donnie), and Mimi Rios and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan & Rita Rios; sister Nora Perkins; and brothers Juan Manuel Rios, and Arturo Rios.

Pallbearers will be Rick Rios, Michael Rios, Tony Navarro, Lonnie Rhyne, Chris Bailey, Oscar Hernandez, Jr., Albert Pena, and Rudy Lee Rios.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roman Rhyne, Ethan Rhyne, Ricky Rios, Ayden Rios, Xavier Rios, Case Rios, and Bryson Rios.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Brazoria First Assembly of God, 600 S. Market, Brazoria, TX., with Pastor Greg Harvey officiating. Interment will follow in Sweeny Cemetery.
