Robert Pickney White, better known as "Bob" White, was born to William and Janis White in Greenville South Carolina on July 31,1950. Bob spent the better part of his childhood in Greenville. In 1971 he followed his family to Houston and joined his dad working at J.E. Sirrene Company. In 1976 he met the love of his life, Elizabeth Ann and married her that same year. Bob worked for many companies in his life including Tipco, Goodyear, and for his brother-in-law. He was known as a jack of all trades, he helped everyone with everything.

He enjoyed sports like bowling and softball, hunting and most of all fishing. He enjoyed watching sports as well, cheering on his daughters and grandchildren.

He loved attending Church, mowing the yard, baseball games with his wife and the Astros fan fest with his daughter. “Bob” carried on his love for fishing through his children and grandchildren.

Robert joined the Lord on July 6, 2026, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Elizabeth Ann White; two daughters, Carrie Rushing and husband, Chance and Carol Hargadine and husband, Anson.  He was Popi to his grandchildren Hayden, Amos, Mollee and Marshal Rushing.

He is also survived by his brothers, Joe White and wife, Michelle; Buzz White and wife, Martha and Steve White and wife, Cathleen; numerous nieces, nephews and their children, other relatives and friends.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
