Robert Garnett

Robert Berry Garnett, 70 of Brazoria, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. He was born on March 17, 1947 in Thorndale, Texas to Neal and Hazel (Harris) Garnett. Robert was a boat captain for Kirby Inland Marine.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at Sweeny Cemetery.

Robert is survived by his sons, R. B. Garnett Jr., Christopher Garnett, and Dale Garnett Sr.; grandchildren, Theresea Gossett, Johnathan Garnett, Arthur Garnett, and Zuri Guerra; sister, Vee Teltow; niece, Trisha Collard and husband, Brent; and nephews, Peanut Sweeny and wife, Brenda and Bobby Sweeny and wife, Myrna.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Garnett; and sisters, Earl Ann Thornton and Colene Garnett.
