Robert Eugene Jeffries

July 24, 1956 — June 4, 2026

Robert Eugene Jeffries, affectionately known as Bobby, age 69 of West Columbia, passed away on June 4, 2026. A man full of life and endless energy, Bobby approached every day with a ready smile, a quick wit, and the confidence that there was nothing he couldn’t fix.

Born to Daniel Felix Jeffries and Hazel Adell Jeffries, Bobby carried forward a spirit of ingenuity and joy. He had a remarkable talent for repairing anything that crossed his path; whether it was a broken engine, a household gadget, or a friend’s troubled day. His hands were always busy, and his heart was always open.

Bobby found his greatest pleasures in the simple and the adventurous. He loved fishing, snorkeling, and traveling. A master at the grill and in the kitchen, he took pride in cooking for family and friends, turning every meal into a celebration. Known for his playful teasing and good-natured picking, Bobby could light up a room with his humor and never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh.

Above all, Bobby adored his family. He was a devoted husband, father, friend, and grandfather whose love for his grandchildren was boundless. Their laughter and energy brought him endless joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Felix Jeffries, his mother, Hazel Adell Jeffries, and his granddaughter, Harper Grace Jeffries.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of almost 24 years Donna Jeffries, daughter and son-in-law Shannon and Cliff Allison, son and daughter-in-law Matt and Jenna Jeffries, son Corey Jeffries, daughter and son-in-law Shelbi and Randal Masters, step-son Saul Shortt, grandchildren Preston Jeffries, Aiden Allison, Levi Jeffries, Emma Shortt, Randal James Masters, Ellie Jeffries and baby Masters. He is also survived by his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Gary and Kathy Keener, James Lee and Debbie Fitzgerald, Steven and Linda Fitzgerald, and Michael and Linda Fitzgerald.

Those who knew Bobby will remember a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to share in his adventures. His spirit of fun, his helpful hands, and his teasing grin will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
