Robert Spivey

Robert Ervin Spivey, 67 of Brazoria, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was born on April 2, 1951 in Waco, Texas to Ervin and Bobbie Enda (Braden) Spivey. Robert worked as a park host at Garner State Park, Gulf Coast Transit, was a Reserve Police Officer for Angleton Police Department, Brazoria Collision, a truck driver for Chaquita, and retired as a stillman from Phillips Petroleum.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 8:30 am until 9:00 am at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia. Burial will take place at Sweeny Cemetery at 10:00 am Monday. Following burial will be a memorial service at New Shores Baptist Church in Old Ocean at 11:00 am.

Robert is survived by his wife, Brenda Spivey; sons, Robert Aaron Spivey and wife, Elizabeth, and Christopher Allan Spivey; grandsons, Corey Allan Spivey and Landon Tyler Spivey; sister, Karen Spivey Frazer and husband, Bubba; along with many cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
