Ronnie Thomas

Ronnie Gene Thomas, 66, of Brazoria passed away Friday August 6, 2021. Ron was born August 20, 1954 to “Red” and Martha Thomas of Clute, Texas. Ron leaves behind his loved ones Shawn Roberts, Travis Thomas, and Leah James. He is preceded in death by his father, Elton Durell “Red” Thomas.  He is survived by his mother, Martha Ross Thomas.  He is also survived by his sister, Suzi Williams; brothers, Donnie Thomas and wife Rozanne, Randy Thomas and wife Donna, and his grandchildren Logan Immenhauser and Alexis Thomas.

Ron loved working in the community, with his work for Bell Systems as a lineman, owning and operating his own construction company, and finally working as a long-haul driver.  He continued to serve in countless rolls including a scout leader, baseball coach, and Lions Club member. During his off time, Ron enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, and fishing. He was always ready to help someone in need, with his big heart and charming personality, he left a fond impression on anyone he met.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm Tuesday, August 17, 2021, in the Chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, TX with celebration of Ronnie’s life at 3:00 p.m.
