Ruby Brenek

Ruby Boggs Brenek, 87, of Brazoria, Tx. passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Sweeny Community Hospital. She was born June 22, 1934, in Mixon, Texas to Lela (Garner) Boggs and Nolan Thomas Boggs.

She loved to cook, listen to country and gospel music. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy John, (Ike) Brenek, Sr., parents, two sisters, and one brother.

Mrs. Brenek is survived by her children, Leroy John Brenek, Jr. and wife Sharon of Yoakum, Tx., Gwen Norton and husband Jackie, of Brazoria, Tx., and Keith Brenek, of Brazoria, Tx., nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; sisters Ruth Gibson of Round Rock, Tx., and Delores Whiteley of Frankston, Tx.; brothers Wayne Boggs of Mixon, Tx., Jerry Boggs of Sanger, Tx., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kerry Brenek, Troy Brenek, Kenneth Brenek, Jeremy Norton, Ken Pesek, and Brian Smith.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2021, in the chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, in West Columbia, Tx., with funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor John Price officiating. Interment will in Brazoria Cemetery.
