Sarah Villareal

June 21, 1936 — July 2, 2017

Sarah Jane Villareal, 81, of Alvin Texas went to be the Lord on July 2, 2017. Sarah was born on June 21, 1936 in Talladega, Alabama to William H. Heath and Ada Hurst Heath. She met Rodolfo "Rudy" Villareal in Mobile,Alabama while he was serving in the Air Force. They were married on February 13, 1954; they have been married 63 years. During Rudy's time in the Air Force Sarah enjoyed traveling abroad and teaching her children about the exotic places they visited. Sarah was very involved in community outreach serving meals on wheels; she was a member of the United Methodist Women's Ministry, The Red Hat Society and loved hosting her spectacular Christmas parties. She loved to bake and share her goodies with all, while living in Dallas the newspaper ran a feature on her baking talent and published several of her recipes. In 1969 her daughter Dana nominated her for the "best mother in the world" radio show contest and she won.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at First Methodist Church of Alvin with Pastor Linda Snow officiating with a reception to follow the service.

Sarah is survived by Rudy, Children Tracy A. Villareal (Barbara) of Rockport; Dana C. Blackstock of Sweeny, Grandchildren, Stephanie Stuksa of Midlothian, Courtney McKinley of Sweeny, Great Grandchild, Nicholas McKinley. She is also survived by Brother Bill Heath (Phyllis) of Fairhope, AL, Sister Barbara Heath-Collins (Don) of Hoschton, GA, Niece Spenser Norris Atlanta, GA.; Niece, Renee Townes (Tim) of Fredricksburg and Nephew, Dean Heath (Norma) of Colorado Springs, CO. Special Friends Michael Norris, Neal and Julia Price and Butch and Ann Graham .

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Heath and Ada "Pearl" Adaphine Hurst Heath.
