Sharon Keszler

June 16, 1940 — November 26, 2016

Sharon Keszler passed away from this life and met her Savior on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at her home in Wild Peach, Texas. Sharon was born on June 16, 1940 in Fort Bend County to Lucretia Wilma Rose Argo and Noah Marcellus Argo. She was born into a loving family that included 13 brothers and sisters.

She was married to Hurbert Lloyd Keszler for 56 years. Hurbert was the love of her life. They raised their family in Damon, Texas. Her involvements were based around her family and her church. She was active in the Damon PTA for many years and served as an officer for several years. Sharon was also a den mother for cub scouts and helped when her sons were in Boy Scouts. She served as room mother with other moms during her children's school years. Sharon was very involved with her church, The Christian Center in West Columbia until her health would no longer allow this. She served as President of the Women's Ministry, Sunday School teacher for toddlers, children and adults for many years, VBS teacher and anything else she was asked to fulfill. Her love for crafts, music, storytelling and cooking were passed on to her children.

Sharon leaves behind her children; Donna and Robert Croy of West Columbia, Randy and Betty Keszler of Old Ocean, Tim Keszler of San Leon, Tanya and Travis Honeysette of West Columbia, and Chrissy and Brad Holesovsky of Wild Peach; 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara West of Wharton and Linda & Kenneth Booth of Alpena, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; brother in laws Bill Keszler and Raymond Keszler; sister in laws Maxine Czerny ,Doris Wilhelm, Marie Bannister, Mary Ann Sauls and Jo Ann Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hurbert, her parents, brothers Archie, Calvin, Don, Dickey, Noah and Buddy Lee Argo; sisters Ester Brown, Daisy Brown, Doris Black and Carol Johnson.

The family would like to acknowledge Bethany Home Health Services and Help, Inc. for their wonderful care extended towards our mother as well as Dr. James Veselka and Dr. Salim Dabaghi for their care and compassion for many years.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Baker Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery at 2:30pm.
