Stanley Burke

Stanley Dane Burke, 64 of Sweeny, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. He was born on December 20, 1953 in Mercedes, Texas to Billy (Bill) and Nola Dell (Maloy) Burke. Stanley worked for Phillips/Conoco Phillips for over 30 years.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Sweeny with John Price officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be William Burke, Gary Pate, Kenny Pate, Ricky Reid, Joe McDougald, Doug Dunham, John Guillott, Joel Meador, Gary Kraemer, Mike Kraemer, Bill Keener, David Keener, Trey Riggs, Donnie Dawes, Unit 26, and friends at Phillips.

Stanley is survived by his sister, Kitty Burke; nephew, William Burke; niece, Courtlin Burke; along with many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Dell Burke.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stanley's name to Gulf Coast STARS Animal Rescue 557 Munson Ct Angleton, Texas 77515.
