Stephanie Svajda

Stephanie Svajda, 45, of Houston passed away on May 25, 2019 at her home. She was born in Richmond, Texas on February 10, 1974 to Cathy and Stephen Svajda.

Stephanie is already greatly missed. "Aunt Steffy" was continuously caring, warm spirited, and was always there for her friends and family when needed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00 am at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Damon. Burial will follow at Damon Catholic Cemetery nearby. Serving as pallbearers are Blake LaBay, Donny Uherek, Taylor Janczak, Kenny Netardus, Brad Kveton, and Jeff Svajda.

Stephanie is survived by her mother, Cathy Svajda; brother, Matthew Svajda & wife, Jourdan; sister, Stacie Velasco and husband, Moses; and Aunt Dianne LaBay; along with several other aunts and uncles; nephews, Judah and Kellar; and nieces, Macie and Josie. She is preceded in death by her father, Stephen Svajda.
