Stephen Walters Jr

Stephen Leland Walters Jr- “Stevie”- was born on October 16, 1961 in Freeport Texas. He passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 as he took his final flight to heaven on the wings of a snow white dove. Stevie grew up in Jones Creek and always lived in Brazoria County.

He was a simple man with a pure heart, who loved hunting, fishing and spending time in nature with his dog Bear by his side. His heart belonged to the woods along the Brazos River and it was there that he called “HOME”. He loved living on the river, his best memories were made there and at Lake Whitney with his Uncle Bubba. Stevie held such a special place in so many people’s hearts and will be truly missed.

Stevie is preceded in death by his father Stephen “Steve” Walters Sr., his brother- in-law Kevin Autry and his special Uncle Bubba Zachary.

Stevie is survived by the love of his life Becki Lewis. His sons; Stephen Walters III (Chelsie), and their daughter Ella Grey Walters, Chad Lewis, daughter Latasha Robbins (Chris). Siblings; Quent Walters (Elaine), Melissa Autry, Joe Singleton, Kayla Walters Burns (Brad) and Justin Walters (Lauren); Mother Keeta Singleton and Step-Father Jim; Step-Mother Marilyn Walters, aunt Tara Walters Boyd, uncle Randy Walters and a host of friends and family that loved him so.

A visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, West Columbia.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, West Columbia.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction and special care of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home, West Columbia.
