Susan Dannhaus

Susan Goode Dannhaus, 57 of Damon who fought a mighty battle with cancer with her faith never wavering to the end, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. She was born April 29, 1960 in Freeport, Texas to Raymond and Dorothy (Westbrook) Goode. She enjoyed and loved her grandkids immensely, a great fan of the Dallas Cowboys and looked forward to their games. She also loved the Louisiana trips with her husband, Ronnie where they ate great food and played the slots. She was an ad representative for the Fort Bend Herald and many other magazines where she had many friends, especially Bekah Ramos.

Funeral services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Pastor Aaron Timberlake officiating. Burial will follow at Yelderman Cemetery in Damon. Visitation will be Friday evening, September 29, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm also at Baker Funeral Home.

Susan is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Ronnie; her daughters, Stephanie and fiancé, Chris Thompson; and Jill Shifflett; mother and step-father, Dottie and Reed Neddermeyer; grandchildren, Alex, Nathan, and Addison Martinez; Stephen and Matthew Thompson; brothers, Mike Goode and wife, Tita; Gary Goode and wife, Terry; sisters, Pam McMullun and husband, Cliff; Mary Boyd and husband, Taylor along with numerous relatives and friends and her fur companions, Pattie Cake and Stella.

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Goode and grandson, Collin Ray.
