Timothy Bergen

Timothy Doyle Bergen, 63 of Brazoria, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, January 19, 2018. He was born July 15, 1954 in Freeport, Texas to George Alfred and Leona Clara (Wolters) Bergen. Timothy loved to "shoot the breeze" with family and friends, fishing, his horses, and most of all his family.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia with Benny McDonald III officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest. Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time. Serving as pallbearers are Chance Bergen, Connor Bergen, Paul Moreland, Brandon Bergen, Brent Bergen, and Cody Smith.

Timothy is survived by his son, Christopher Bergen and wife, Ann; brother, Dennis Bergen and wife, Norma; sisters, Donna Moreland and husband, Roger and Lazetta Boone and husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Chance and Connor Bergen; nieces, Candace Lindley, Rachel McDonald and husband, Benny, and Cheryl Watson; nephews, D. L. Hempsmyer, Michael Bergen, and Paul Moreland and wife, Jaime; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Alfred and Leona Bergen, and his sisters, Deedra Bergen and Linda Hempsmyer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Timothy's name to the American Lung Association.
