During her forty-year membership at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, she was devoted to serving in numerous capacities including Eucharistic minister, Disciples in Mission Coordinator, Spiritual Advisor and active participant in the St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was a volunteer with the Angleton police department in their Citizen on Patrol Organization and served her neighbors and greater community whom she loved and who loved her.
Trudy was able to live independently in her own home, as an avid gardener and all around helper to neighbors, friends and strangers alike. With the immeasurable devotion and support of her family and her beloved friends, she lived at home until the last week of her life. This was further made possible by the support of the larger West Columbia community, including her personal physicians and CHI St. Luke's staff at every level, about all of whom she constantly remarked "I am so thankful".
Trudy was a true animal lover, having had many treasured furry companions over the years.
