Vicki Carlile, born on July 25, 1958, in Freeport, Texas, was reunited with her daughter in Heaven on May 8, 2025, in Angleton, Texas. She lived a vibrant life devoted to her loving family. Vicki, affectionately known as Nana, was the backbone of her family which is why so many in her family relied on her. However, to say she was "devoted" is a huge understatement. Nana could be called any time, day or night, and she would be there for you without question. Nana was constantly surrounded by her family and will be profoundly missed. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.
Whether she was basking in the sun at the pool or floating down the river, Nana loved the water. What she did not love was ice in her drinks or anyone touching her feet. She also enjoyed collecting anything elephant related given to her by family members. Additionally, Nana enjoyed spending her leisure time watching movies or shows with her grandsons and Big Brother with her granddaughters. Nana was always the life of the party, especially when sipping on Jack and Coke, no ice, or doing shots of Fireball. Nana also ensured there were deviled eggs, regardless of the menu, at family functions because everyone wanted them. Nana really enjoyed going to and watching the grandkids and great grandkids sporting events. But during those solemn times when she was alone, she enjoyed spending time with her weenie dog Bella. There's so much more to Nana than just a few paragraphs. So many little things that everyone will remember and miss about her.
Nana is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Weatherly and her husband Michael of Lake Jackson, Texas; her son, Rickey Orchard of Brazoria, Texas; her grandchildren Courtney Bluejacket, McKayla Upshaw and Ty, Jadden Bluejacket and Serena, Jayce Bluejacket, Austin Martinez and Liz, and Tate Orchard. Nana is also survived by her great-grandchildren Chandon, Caislyn, Taylen, Tatum, Zoee, Zara, Liam, Luca, and Lochlan.
Vicki's life, however, is also marked by the loss of dear family members who preceded her in death. She was preceded by her parents, Pauline (Coyle) and Leslie Kelley; her four siblings, Marlene, Leslie, Rhona, and Bill; her stepson Stephen; and her most devastating loss, her amazing and beautiful daughter Holly Denise Orchard.
