Vivian Tyler

Vivian Veola Tyler, 94 of Sweeny, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Galveston surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 11, 1922 in Blessing, Texas to Dee Jones and Ada Veola (Fisher) Halliburton. She worked as a dietitian for Sweeny Hospital before she retired after many years of service.

Graveside services will be held 11:00am, Friday, April 21, 2017 at Cedar Lawn Haven of Rest Cemetery with Pastor Ryan Lintelman officiating.

Vivian is survived by her daughters, Gloria Larrew and husband, Kevin; Martha Lucas and husband, Pete; grandchildren, Barbara Tyler, Shon Yarborough, Joe Tyler, Wade Tyler, Ray Peyton, Inger Peyton, Marianne Lowitzer-Legendre, Gilbert Peyton and Jason Lowitzer; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Franklin Tyler; her parents; her son, Gilbert Tyler along with sisters, Geraldine Zboril, Ada Windsor and Bessie Steele.
