Watt Holt

November 18, 1935 — September 21, 2017

Watt "Tooter" Holt of Angleton, Texas passed away peacefully at home Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the age of 81. Tooter was born on November 18, 1935.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Holt Penney (Richard), Sam Holt, Scotty Holt, Tim Holt (Rhonda), Michael Holt (Leslie), Johnny Runnels (Anna), Melonie Holt; and many loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; sister, Ollie Douglas (James); forever dear friend, Linda Holt; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and lifelong friends.

Tooter was proud Veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea. He enjoyed the outdoors, taking adventures, whether it was by horse, mule, or "White Buffalo" his Harley. He loved camping, hunting, shucking, oysters, grilling, and spending time with family and friends.

Tooter was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Holt and Mary Holt Thompson; son, Terry Lair; brother, HL Holt; sisters, Joyce Blessing, Bonnie Taylor, Barbara Collard and Addie Jane Rogers.

A special thank you to Maria Morgan, Tooter's care giver (his friend) for her loving care and support. We would also like to thank Lori Mobley and Hospice Nurse, Casey Suchon.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Victory Fellowship Cowboy Church in Brazoria, Texas. There will not be a graveside service. Thank you Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia for taking care of us and our father's arrangements.
