William "Bill" Brumbelow

William (Bill) Hiram Brumbelow, 88, of Damon, Texas passed away Friday, July 9, 2021 in Rosenberg, Texas. Bill was born June 20, 1933 in Damon, Texas to the late Carrie Mae (Follett) and Eldredge P. Brumbelow.

Bill graduated from Damon High School. He was a member of Hilltop Fellowship Baptist Church in Damon, Texas. Bill also served in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, talking to people, gold panning, state park camp host, going to the game room and playing scratch off tickets.

Bill was preceded in death by the love of his life and his wife of 58 years, Lavinia Brumbelow; son William Brumbelow, brother Joe Brumbelow, sister Murtle Mae Montier, and grandson William Ray Jr.

He is survived by his son Brady Brumbelow and wife Debbie, of Damon; daughter in law Suzanne Brumbelow from Guy; daughter Laverne Blandchard and husband Tommy, of Saratoga; grandchildren Racheal Brumbelow, Shane Brumbelow, Audrey Brumbelow, Lisa Bowman, Tabitha Hendrix, Rebecca Lee, Timmy Day, Crystal Higgins, Hunter Brumbelow, Coleman Brumbelow and Abby Brumbelow; great grandchildren Kari Engelhardt, Wyatt Engelhardt, Emma Day, Erin Day, Cheyenne Hendrix, Kady Hendrix, Cassidy Hendrix, Kortney Hendrix, Bobby Bowman, Summer Bowman, Van Lee, Sunshine Lee; and great great grandchild Clementine Elise Hendrix.

A visitation with friends and loved ones will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home in West Columbia, Texas.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 in the Chapel of C.T. Baker & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Brumbelow, Pastor David Brumbelow and Pastor Mark Brumbelow. Interment will follow in Yelderman Cemetery Damon, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Shane Brumbelow, Timmy Day, Hunter Brumbelow, Coleman Brumbelow, Jonathan Bowman, Ricky Miller, Roger Jones and Alan Horak.
