Stanley L. Sprague, 73, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at his home in Sweeny, Texas. Stanley was born on September 19, 1948, to Kathleen L. Jennings and Wm. T. Sprague. He graduated from Milby High School in 1967 and went on to receive his master’s plumber’s license.

Stanley enjoyed photography, crossword puzzles, and spending time with his family. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and “Sweet Dadoo” to his grandchildren.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, Lula, and Roy Phillips; mother-in-law, M. Flonsbee McBride; and brothers-in-law, J. Garland Johnson, and Rocky C. Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years and 10 months, Donna F. Johnson Sprague; daughter, Heather Anne Sprague; brother, Stephen W. Sprague; grandchildren, Megan C. Ingle, and Isaac G. Ingle; four great grandchildren; and Hoss, his German Shephard.

Per Stanley’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
